Use THIS form of messaging instead of commodity messaging for your small businesses marketing
2025 has been one for the books and it’s because I went super heavy with work in Q1 (tons of focus and concentrated effort has led to amazing results in Q3.)

It is one thing to have something exciting happen for you but to have something exciting happen for the people you work for that is the reason for this thing.

2. The second point here, the main reason why we are getting so much success with my clients social media accounts is because we are using expert positioned content instead of commodity content.
Commodity content is what I see most local service and product-based businesses use to message about their businesses.
Commodity content includes features of products/services, things coming up, events, why a product or service is special, promos, deals etc.
Now of course, you SHOULD use these types of messages throughout your marketing but to rely on this solely is NOT effective at getting people to stop and pay attention to you.
This is why this type of marketing is commodity because it does not raise attention. Getting attention is NOT THAT HARD but you do need to learn how to position your business for attention AND be organized enough not to miss the opportunities to sell after.
Positioned content delivers emotional language and the thoughts of the people who the message is intended for makes all the difference. Write that sentence down next to your work desk or mobile phone.
Here is the gold too: when you run ads or paid traffic at it the content explodes like pouring gasoline on open flames. That’s what happened with my client yesterday——she put her products in swag bags and then micro influencers shared her brand name a dozen times to their active audiences. The attention was awesome but MORE awesome was when they landed on our positioned content created for her——it was a buffet of greatness, comments, interactions that were genuine and heartfelt, people talking to HER and validating her reason for serving and taking the next steps towards being CUSTOMERS.

This is my ad performance from Jan 2025. 13 cents a click, $1 a lead; $273 spent to bring in 350 people into a zoom event/meeting and converted one new person to $1800 sale. That is $273 spent to make $1800! This was expert positioned content that then performed extremely well with ad spend put behind it. I tested the same ad before with similar results. When you see your messaging doing really well for free this is the content that you might run with ads at some point depending on the goals of your marketing campaigns. I will also “add” that the fb average cost per lead is almost $7 so we were well below average indicating a high performing ad set.
