These 3 things stop business growth in its tracks

Thing 1. Saying you don't know anything about marketing, or "don't understand marketing" and using this as a reason as to why you just don't actively grow your understanding of this area of your business.

As CEOS we should know our numbers, our desired outcomes and be the ones guiding the team. Learn how marketing can improve your companies bottom line.

When you do eventually outsource you should know the role you are outsourcing and even have done it yourself. Like a captain on a boat, you know the parts.

Thing 2. Attending dozens of different seminars, free classes, free strategy sessions and NOT moving into a coaching or mentoring program that will actually help guide you to the best results possible. 

Business growth requires investment AND action If I could do year one and two over I would have hired the coach sooner. Planning forever is not an action that supports growth.

Thing 3. Investing in DFY services that don't match the reality of where you are at in business.

I talked to a new client two days ago. He thought that he needed an appointment setter but he actually didn't, he needed a lead generation expert.

He did not realize that he would need new leads coming in everyday to make an appointment setter role worthwhile. The clarity I provided him got him on the right track quickly

So now that you know better, do these things instead!!!

Notice what you have been able to do in marketing and evaluate your effectiveness. ( look and reflect on the real data you have already generated)

Identify the steps you actually need to take in marketing to get to the goal. ( know the goal and work backwards).
